R/C Radio Controlled BB Firing Tank 3808

Radio Controlled BB Firing Tank 3808

Great little tank here, we've had ALOT of fun playing with this and shooting and climbing over anything an everything.
 •    Speed
3/5
As it’s a big tank don’t expect to be speeding around but for what it is it can shift, probably about the same speed as a normal cheap RC car, but because of it’s tank tracks, it can do that over any terrain.
•    Handling
 4/5

Really really good handling on this tank, you have 7 directional keys meaning you can easily go in any direction, backwards, forwards, forward left/right and backwards left/right or combine two of them for a quick 360 degree spin perfect for following the enemy!
•    Looks
5/5

Great looks on this as you can see from our video it could be mistaken for a real tank(if you excuse the size) and it’s customizable with stickers, full camouflage style paint and even a “driver” which can be fitted into the top of the tank.
•    Price
3/5

Really decent price for what you get with this tank, it can move, spin, full control over the turret, barrel and great firing mechanism you won’t find anything as good for cheaper.
•    Control Range
4/5

No complaints in this section, it’s not gonna reach for miles but more than enough and it’s highly unlikely that you’ll be running after it to regain control.
•    Battery Usage
5/5

With only 1 9V battery which surprisingly comes with it in the controller and a built in plug in rechargeable battery for the tank which will run and run and run, you’ll have more than enough battery to enjoy this for a long time.
•    Controller
4/5

Uses 1 9V battery  which comes in the box a pretty unusual one handed design for this controller but you can easily learn to use it perfectly, and has a nice grip, and easy reach for all buttons over all very good.
•    Gun/Turret
5/5

Great turret on this tank, amazing distance and power coming from the barrel with a fearsome warning light and noise according to the box it can reach up to 25m and from my experience that’s not an exaggeration and with a turret that can turn nearly 360 degrees you’ll be shooting down everyone with BB bullets
•    Over view
Overall this tank is excellent, decent enough speed, great looks, great control and ability to climb up and over just about anything you’ll encounter, powerful shooting, free battery, and targets to shoot at, all at a good price you won’t need anything more. I'd give it a 4 out of 5.

Radio Controlled 1/10 Scale R/C Drift Car – Flyingfish R/C EP-16

Radio Controlled 1/10 Scale R/C Drift Car – Flyingfish Review

Buy this car, buy it now!, it truly is that good and i would point anyone in the direction of this if they asked me which to buy!

•    Speed
5/5

Really good speed with this car as you'd probably expect if your expecting to be going sideways, according to the internet it has a top speed of 32KM/H to scale, very very fast!

•    Handling
 4/5

As this car is designed to be all about the handling, the sideways drifting action you'd expect really good handling from it and it certainly delivers, easy to get sideways, great turning circle, although it can be abit difficult to control if your not used to it, or you get the reasonably difficult settings wrong.

•    Looks
3/5

This car is more about performance than looks, although you can get alot of different styled plastic moulded bodies to slot right on top with different colours, styles, race cars, trucks, spoiler or no spoiler or even off-roader, under the body it is a much better situation with very real looking chrome alloy wheels, life like suspension, dampers etc etc.

•    Price
4/5

You won't be getting this car cheap, but it is well worth it, alot of fun to just drive, but then you can also spend hour upon hour replacing the various bits, modding everything and anything to create your very own customised high performance RC car exactly how you want it, you'd have to get a real car to get anything better in that department.

•    Control Range
3/5

with the size of the aerial in the controller you'd expect to get a control range over miles, now this may just be me as I've not seen any complaints from anyone else but the range i got was fairly standard but it was still enough for plenty of fun.

•    Battery Usage
5/5

a built in 7.2V battery with a plug in charger, and 6 AA batteries in the controller, i don't think I've had anything that last as long as this, I've had a good hour or 2 none stop high energy driving and drifting before it even started to waiver in extremely hot weather, amazing.

•    Controller
4/5

Uses 6 AA batteries in the base, very big manly feeling controller that full of gadgets, you can adjust the positioning of the 'trigger', invert the forward and backwards motion and the steering if you'd prefer, you can even adjust the wheel angle of your car if it's pulling to 1 side, or you for whatever reason want to aim a certain direction, and the same with the forwards and backwards direction.

•    Over view

I am in love with this car, it is truly amazing the amount of gizmo's you can get, chop and change, the high speed, the amazing drifting, decent enough looks, extra cushioned front end just in-case you crash, and at a reasonable enough price, I'd give it a 5 out of 5 and recommend it to the slightly older from about 15 upwards as it does require quite abit of control and ability but hardcore racers/drifters will love it.

Radio Controlled Mini Shark 3ch mini indoor helicopter

Radio Controlled Mini Shark 3ch mini indoor helicopter review

•    Speed /height
3/5

As this ‘copter is supposed to be an mainly indoor heli don’t expect to be flying around the clouds but with it’s infrared controls you can get a decent height and distance more than enough for even the biggest house, and plenty for outside fun too although be prepared to get running after it outside if you fly to far.

•    Handling
 4/5

Again as it’s been made and designed as an indoor ‘copter so your going to get control enough to wiz around the living room so there’s defiantly going to be enough handling for all your needs no disappointments.

  • Looks
3/5

Great looking small helicopter metal frame colour coded with the rear fin plastic front cover which I believe to be customizable, very good and solid looking.
  • Price
3/5

Pretty reasonable priced copter and worth the money in my opinion you gonna have a lot of fun even on them rainy days sat inside flying this little beauty around your house.

•    Control Range
3/5

As this is a mainly indoor copter don’t be expecting miles and miles but it certainly has enough for the indoors and just enough for outside, very good.

•    Battery Usage
5/5

The controller runs off 6 AA batteries and expect them to last, even if they are cheap and the helicopter it’s self can either be charged from any USB port using the wire provided, or from the controller which has it’s own built in wire in a nice little slot which I believe to be unique to this and means it can be charged up anywhere.

•    Controller
3.5/5

Great controller bright and colourful, has everything you need in terms of controls that are very easy to manoeuvre and the nice built in charger for the helicopter makes it that bit better.

•    Over view

Over all it’s a really good RC helicopter, does it’s job really well, great controls, looks good, and a decent price, I’d recommend it for the younger user, about 10 upwards but plenty of fun for everyone 4 out of 5 for me.

3Ch Syma S006 Alloy Shark RC Radio Control Metal Frame Helicopter

S006 Alloy Shark RC Helicopter review

according to the book this helicopter has an intelligent R/C system, full scale remote control 360 degree exact directional, smooth hang performance electricity saving function and safeguarded battery.

i'd recommend you find a big open space to fly this until you get used to it because it can be dangerous inside if you don't know what your doing

•    Speed /height
5/5

Brilliant, utterly brilliant from my estimation you can get this ‘copter  a good 40 50 odd feet in the air at least great speed can be a little scary if you just dive right in such is the power but it is very impressive each rotor powered by a huge motor about the size of a pounds worth of 1ps stacked up, if you imagine most other motors put together aren’t even the size of 1 of these, can give some indication to what your going to be getting.
•    Handling
 4/5

Again superb handling a quick search around the internet and you’ll find plenty of videos of this RC helicopter being flown around small rooms, zipping from left to right, up and down around and around it may take a bit of practise to be able to do this, but after a couple of minutes you should be well on your way.
•    Looks
3/5

Great looking copter, for me there’s not really a lot you can do with helicopters, I’m more of a car man, but it looks very good, and has the ability to change nearly everything on it from the main body, coloured tails, rotors everything, has a lot of exposed innards but gives it a raw construction feel and the ability to see it all working.
•    Price
4/5

Although this is a pretty expensive copter I think it’s well worth it, if your interested in customization you can do it all, exciting controlled flying, it can do it, your not going to want or need anything else so it’s well worth the price.
    Control Range
5/5

The only way your going to get higher and further away is with a real life helicopter very very high, and far away, and all the way back brilliant.
•    Battery Usage
5/5

As with a lot of copters this doesn’t use batteries but does come with a plug in charger and you’ll need 4 AA batteries for the controller but mine are yet to run out yet after a few hours of fun.
•    Controller
3/5

Not the best of controllers with this one, it’s pretty big and chunky but does give you the feel that if you need a controller this big that it’s going to be controlling something mega, has all your needs on it up down, left right, around and around rudder control, aerial even has small feet to stand it up.
    Over view

Excellent, brilliant and you won’t find much better without selling your house to pay for it, it’s got everything, height, ability, control, looks, price, customizability, the manufacturers recommend it for anyone over the age of 14 and i'd probably agree maybe 12/13 if you reckon you can handle it.
I wouldn’t recommend anything else 5 out of 5 for me.

Radio Controlled Licenced 1:18 BMW X5 Sports

BMW X5 Review

the BMW is an excellent car for a cheap price, decent looks nice handling great RC car

•    Speed
3/5

Nothing special about the speed of this car, but it’s not going to disappoint either but plenty of fun still enough speed to get some sideways action if your on the right terrain and has some reasonable off-road abilities.
•    Handling
 4/5

Brilliant handling with this car much like the previous Nissan your not going to be doing hardcore drifting or high speeds but you can handle your car more than adequately for pretty much anything you might want to do.
•    Looks
 4/5

Great looking car, it doesn’t have masses of detail on it but certainly looks like a very beautiful scale model of the BMW such as the iconic front grill, you’re also going to be getting fully working front and rear lights alloy style wheels.
    Price
 4/5

Really good price for this car you’d struggle find something this good for cheaper, low priced, good car what more could you want!?

•    Control Range
 3/5

No real complaints in this section, but nothing to write home about either, decent enough range and control as you’d expect with a car of this style of car.

    Battery Usage
 3/5

As with all of our tests we were using the same very cheap batteries in this case 4 AA batteries in the car and 1 9V in the controller, after about an hours time the performance and ability of the car did distinguish, but after a short rest it did work fine again for a while, overall reasonable enough use of the batteries.
•    Controller
4/5

Uses 1 9V battery Good forward and reverse motion through one finger, reasonable looks and a simple easy turning mechanism, styled like a car wheel with soft tire grip nicely weighted, not to sharp and not to stiff.  Very nice moulded grip for ease and comfort, Overall a decent controller.
•    Over view

The BMW X5 is a very good car, decent looks, great drive, a lot of fun I would say it’s more for the younger kinds below the age of about 12/13 to enjoy fully but for the cheap price anyone else would still be able to have a lot of fun with it, all in all I’d give it a 4 out of 5.

Radio Controlled 1:14 LICENSED NISSAN 350Z Review

R.C Nissan 350Z Review

Now to start off the blog we've got a rather tasty Nissan 350Z Licensed car to review, had quite a bit of fun with this check out the review below....

•    Speed
3/5

You’re not going to be winning races against the best cars with this but it’s not exactly crawling along, a fine speed for the type of car that it is, about the speed of an adults pretty fast walking pace.

•    Handling
 4/5

Brilliant handling with this car and does exactly what you’d expect, although you won’t be skidding around corners sideways it is a very realistic car like driving experience, just with a remote there’s also the ability to adjust the angle of the car underneath if you find it pulling to one side, or your racing on an oval track.

•    Looks
 5/5

superb looking car with amazing detail, including chromed double exhaust at the rear, fully functioning stylish head and rear lights, full detail interior right down to the gearstick and CD player, realistic spoiler, great alloy style wheels with coloured brake callipers, detailed manufacturer and model logos right down to “Nissan” on the wheel nuts. Overall a beautiful remote control car.

    Price
2.5/5

For my likings this car is a bit overpriced for the car that your getting, but I’m a pretty cheap guy, you’d struggle to find anything as good as this car for anything cheaper so probably a harsh rating.

•    Control Range
 3/5

No real complaints in this section, but nothing to write home about either, decent enough range and control as you’d expect with a car of this style of car.

•    Battery Usage
 3/5

As with all of our tests we were using the same very cheap batteries in this case 5 AA batteries in the car and 1 9V in the controller, after about an hours time the performance and ability of the car did distinguish, but after a short rest it did work fine again for a while, overall reasonable enough use of the batteries.

•    Over view

All in all this Nissan 350Z is a brilliant RC car, amazing looks, reasonable speed great control and a price that’s not too shabby I wouldn’t recommend it to the hardcore speed freak but superb car for the younger kids aged anything up to 13, or for someone just looking to have a lil’ play about or for something not to frightening.

I’d give it a high 3.5 out of 5 over all, moderate car, not the best but certainty not the worst.
